The talk on Monday 8th July 2024 is by Ben Nicholls.

The meeting will start at 7:30 pm; doors open at 7:00 pm. The venue is Old Coventrians Rugby Football Club. As usual, the talk will be available via Zoom

Ben returns with a talk entitled ‘Finding my Grandfathers Global Family’.  At the age of 24 Ben discovered that his grandad had had four children with three different women over a period of 40 years.  He had always heard about an ‘Uncle Bob’, but where were the others?  Without knowing their names this seemingly impossible quest to trace them and their descendants took Ben to the other side of the world; a world in which fact is stranger than fiction!
