THE REMEMBRANCE TREES OF COVENTRY’S WAR MEMORIAL PARK

£9.75

For more than a century, Coventry’s War Memorial Park has paid tribute to the citizens of the city who have lost their lives in conflict. Throughout the Park’s tree-lined walks and green spaces, dozens of small individual plaques commemorate the fallen, so that their names live on.

Now, after several years of research, two members of the Friends of the War Memorial Park have collected some of these personal stories and compiled them into a brand new book.

Gill Mills and Robert Bristow’s book is a beautifully produced tribute to the people behind the plaques: young Coventry lives cut short by conflicts in Europe, across the world and on the home front.
