St Pauls Memorial Inscriptions
This data was collected by the late Gordon Cowley. We recently looked at the possibility of re-surveying the memorial inscriptions, but were not permitted to clean the memorials. It was clear that Gordon had encountered difficulties reading them 24 years ago, making the task even more difficult today. Since the data has not been verified, users should treat the data with caution and should certainly verify the data onsite. Gordon included some landmarks (such as trees) to assist in locating plots and these are included in the displayed data. A word of warning – urns have a life of their own and can easily move from grave to grave, for instance when grass cutting takes place.
