UPDATE STATEMENT – CORONAVIRUS
Firstly, we hope you are all safe and healthy and not too stressed with all the information that is being bombarded our way at present. I would think that most of our membership tick one or more ‘at risk’ boxes, and are declared as self-isolating.
Taking this into consideration, The Committee have taken the decision to cancel even more meetings from this year’s Calendar, and are also looking at ways we can conduct the AGM from the comfort of our own homes. The August and September meetings are cancelled and we are taking advice to be able to arrange a postal/proxy meeting for the AGM in October.
It is a very strange position we all find ourselves in, but our priority is for our member’s safety, health and welfare. By taking this action, we hope to see you all either late this year or at least, early 2021.
We continue to monitor the situation and any further decisions will be made as more information and guidance is made available.
Please stay safe and well and we look forward to the time when this is all over and we can once again live our lives with some normality.
