The June meeting will be held on Monday 10th June, commencing at 7:30 pm at Old Coventrians Rugby Football Club. Doors are open at 7pm.
The talk is titled “Magna Carta” by Dr Erik Grigg
Erik is a history lecturer at Lincolnshire University. This entertaining presentation will make the Magna Carta medieval life of King John relevant with many anecdotes of unrest. Erik highlights some of the clauses of the written laws, actions affecting a persons liberty and the church!
The talk will be available via Zoom for those members unable to attend.
