We have developed a simple application to enable users to record their ancestral pedigree (that is the user’s direct ancestors). There is also the facility to record additional information about each ancestor – such as vital dates (births, marriages, deaths), residences, employment, hobbies, siblings and so on.

Printouts are: Full pedigree chart, Single surname pedigree list, Print family (Father, mother, child) as shown on screen, and the additional information for each ancestor. Because of the potentially large size of the full pedigree chart this is output to a pdf file, where it can be reviewed and checked before committing to multiple sheets of A4 paper. For the more adventurous user, there is also an editable text file saved in the Pedigree folder.

This CD is free to all members. To obtain a copy, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope to Andrew Walton. His address is in the Society Journal. The envelope must be large enough to contain the CD in its wallet, (12cm x 12cm, or 5” x 5”). Installation and running instructions are included. And support can be obtained from
