We Shall Remember Them
The Fallen of Keresley Parish
Pete was always very interested in military history, particularly the second world war, and also in genealogy. In 2014 he decided to see what he could find out about those named on the memorials in the churchyard. That resulted in a set of articles for the parish magazine in 2014 and 2015.
He died in late 2015 and I have put the articles, some of his additional research notes,
and some of his photographs together to form this booklet, and added extracts from the parish magazines of the time. Proceeds will go towards the Garden of Remembrance project for the churchyard.
