Earlsdon Heritage Trail

The life and legacy the HERITAGE of Earlsdon has many facets, not least of which are comfortable and industrious living. These two formed the basis for the development of Earlsdon’s tradition as a suburb with a real community spirit, from which sparkled those other facets: its religious life in the two churches, education in the school and library, social life in the pubs, the Social Club and the many societies and clubs that abound in the area, not forgetting the facet best known throughout the city -the shopping centre.

The following short accounts of the history and background of just a few of the buildings and sites of interest in Earlsdon, are intended to high-light the variety of occupations, housing and social life over the past century and a half.
